Former Liverpool captain Sir Kenny Dalglish has said "For me, there are few, if any, better than him in his position."
To think back to March of 2018, when the left back sent a young fan named Alfie Radford a match worn shirt of Roberto Firmino became he was touched by his gesture of offering his pocket money to the foodbanks.
The Scottish Captain wrote: “I’ve got one of Roberto Firmino’s match shirts from this season and asked him to sign it for you, by way of a thank you for what you did for the foodbanks.”
“Let’s be honest Alfie, no one wants the left back’s shirt – which is why I got you Bobby’s instead. Hope that’s okay.”
Bless him! I know I’m not the only who would probably wear his name on the back of my shirt.
These days, I know I wouldn’t be the only one proud to wear his shirt.
